Lesson 1
The theory of watercolor work
In the first lesson, we will analyze in detail, learn and do the following:
• find out what materials and tools are best used for watercolor illustration and painting;

• we will do important basic watercolor exercises to get acquainted with color and material;
• we will master the basic techniques of watercolor: wet, ala prima, glazing;

• let's get acquainted and analyze Itten's color wheel. Explore primary, complementary and opposite colors;
Урок 2
Tulips
Let's work on mixing pastel shades in the illustration with tulips. We'll use glazing technique.
Colors you will need::
carmine • golden • cadmium yellow medium • green
1
Apply a light drawing with a pencil. Wipe off excess with a nag or eraser.

Important: the pencil on which you applied the watercolor, even a thin layer, will not wipe off. Try to keep the drawing light, do not put pressure on the pencil.
2
Try to use less paint to create a lighter color. We remove the excess amount of water on a napkin.
3
Strengthen the shadow parts of the shapes.
4
We draw fine details dry using less water.
5
After the watercolor has completely dried, wipe off the excess visible pencil with an eraser.
